relate matthew romans 2corinthians

The overall perspective from which a person see and interprets the world is their world view. Everyone has a world view. Our world view determines how we make decisions.

Only God has a perfect world view.

The primary reason people don’t act like Jesus is because they don’t think like Jesus.

Our world view must originate in God’s Word and everything that doesn’t line up with the Word must be rejected. Our God tells us Who He is.

  • Only 9% of born again believers have a biblical world view.
  • Only 4% of Americans have a biblical world view.

How we think is a decision.

2 Corinthians 10. The goal of our lives in Christ is to think like God thinks! Settle on it!

Romans 8:31

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

The all-knowing God wants to lead you and to give you life everlasting. God uses people to do this. We must be careful to make sure they are what God reveals. People have their own agenda. God’s agenda is always trustworthy. God’s perspective is perfect in all things.

Matthew 22. It only makes intellectual sense to believe. When you are truly trusting God you don’t have to worry about anyone failing. Who are you putting your trust in?

Commit to opening yourself up to and receiving God’s world view.

Romans 12:1-2

1Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
